Romania IT Hub Celebrates New Bucharest Offices
Romania IT Hub Celebrates New Bucharest Offices
On 16 September, Equans officially inaugurated the new offices of its Romania IT Hub in Bucharest, marking an important milestone in the hub's development journey.
The inauguration brought together colleagues from across the world, both in person and online, to celebrate the opening of a workspace designed to support collaboration, innovation and growth. The event reflected the collective effort and commitment that have driven the hub's success since its creation.
Speaking during the ceremony, Irina Ciucioi-Badea, IT Hub Director, highlighted the remarkable progress achieved in a short period of time:
"I am very proud of what we have achieved. The speed, urgency and quality with which everyone has worked have been impressive."
She also emphasized the diversity, agility and strong commitment that characterize the Romania IT Hub and continue to contribute to its development.
Emmanuel Gachet, Group CIO, Etienne Jacolin, Group CFO, Julien Toqueboeuf and Franck Meriau attended the inauguration, reaffirming the strategic importance of the Romania IT Hub within Equans' global IT organization.
Their presence reflected the confidence placed in the hub and its role in supporting Equans' digital transformation ambitions.
Just nine months ago, the Romania IT Hub was still a vision. Today, it has grown to nearly 100 employees and officially opened its own offices in Bucharest. More than a workplace, these new offices symbolize the hub's rapid growth and provide a dedicated space where teams can collaborate, innovate and continue building strong connections across Equans' global IT community, while reflecting both Equans' culture and Romania's unique identity.
This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of colleagues across multiple countries and the support of trusted partners who have contributed to making this project a reality.
As the Romania IT Hub enters this new chapter, the opening of the Bucharest offices stands as a clear demonstration of what can be accomplished through teamwork, ambition and a shared vision for the future.
Welcome to our new home in Bucharest. The journey continues.
